About the role
Karanja & Gisore Advocates, a business‑oriented law firm in Nairobi, is seeking an Associate Advocate to join its team. The role involves managing a full spectrum of legal matters for corporate clients, from initial drafting to court representation.
Key responsibilities
- Handle litigation, commercial disputes, and conveyancing matters end‑to‑end.
- Draft legal documents, attend court hearings, and prepare legal opinions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and produce client updates, reports, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and support staff to achieve firm and client objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognised university.
- Admitted Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
- Proactive, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
- Strong analytical, drafting and presentation abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
