Advocate – Litigation (Nairobi/Kerugoya)

About the role

Magee Law LLP is expanding its litigation team and seeks motivated Advocates to join us in Nairobi and Kerugoya. You will manage a diverse portfolio of civil and commercial disputes, representing clients before Kenyan courts and tribunals.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions and briefs.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk, and potential outcomes.
• Manage your own caseload to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and the wider team on complex matters.

Required profile

• Admitted to the Roll of Advocates of the High Court of Kenya.
• Valid LSK practising certificate.
• Minimum 2 years post‑admission litigation experience.
• Strong advocacy, drafting, and analytical abilities.
• High professional and ethical standards.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
