Agriculture Relationship Manager – Commercial

About the role

The Agriculture Relationship Manager – Commercial will manage a portfolio of corporate agribusiness customers, building long‑term relationships and delivering risk‑adjusted growth. The role combines sales, service delivery and credit assessment to maximise portfolio contribution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve annual financial targets for balance‑sheet growth, revenue, profitability and market share while keeping Portfolio At Risk within limits.
• Drive customer satisfaction (NPS), manage service level agreements and resolve complaints promptly.
• Develop and execute business development plans, including prospecting new agribusiness clients and expanding wallet share of existing customers.
• Prepare and assess credit applications, ensuring compliance with risk policies and providing judgmental information.
• Coach and develop Assistant Relationship Managers, tracking performance and conducting periodic reviews.

Required profile

• A relevant business‑related bachelor’s degree; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relationship management experience in business or corporate banking.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate banking products, credit risk guidelines and country/Group policies.
• Ability to analyse customer value chains, identify opportunities and coordinate with product specialists.
