AjiraForSHE Internship – Digital Platform Support

About the role

The AjiraForSHE internship supports the implementation of a digital saving and loaning platform across Kenya. Interns will assist project teams in communication, data management, social media, and IT tasks while gaining hands‑on experience in development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support beneficiaries in scaling the use of the digital saving and loaning platform among saving groups.
• Assist the communication department with project documentation and social media content, including drafting posts, creating posters, and analysing digital metrics.
• Enter and verify field data in ActivityInfo and help update finance and HR digital records.
• Contribute to MEAL activities by designing tools, collecting data, documenting analysis, and sharing feedback with the program team and stakeholders.
• Participate in external project events, Ajira digital trainings, and other IT‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Social Sciences, Project Design, Human Resources, Finance, IT, Commerce or a related field.
• Female candidates aged 18‑35 years.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
