Asset Care Assistant – Refrigeration Systems

About the role

We are looking for a self‑driven, detail‑oriented Asset Care Assistant to support the efficient operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems for a leading utilities operations provider.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules according to established standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of critical components such as temperature, leakage, pressure and lubrication.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify abnormalities and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
• Inspect and maintain filters, strainers, valves and related systems.

Required profile

• Advanced Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (additional training in Electrical Hydraulics & Pneumatics is an advantage).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proven troubleshooting and repair skills.

What we offer

• Gross salary of KES 30,000 per month, subject to statutory deductions.
