Assistant Executive – Trade Representative

About the role

The Assistant Executive – Trade Representative will be based in Limuru and work directly in the field, driving sales across assigned routes. This role focuses on ensuring product availability, visibility and strong retailer relationships while promoting new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales volumes and achieve daily targets on the assigned route.
• Ensure products are stocked, visible and well‑placed in retail outlets such as dukas, beauty shops and pharmacies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers to boost brand loyalty.
• Introduce new product developments, collect feedback and support timely launches.
• Execute in‑store merchandising, POSM placement and activation plans.
• Capture sales data, stock levels and market insights accurately using the Sales App.
• Uphold company values by managing trade floats and assets responsibly.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in field sales, route‑to‑market execution or retail distribution within the FMCG sector.
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Valid driving licence with at least two years of driving experience.
• Customer‑centric, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Sales Apps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
