Assistant Marketing Manager (FMCG)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Assistant Marketing Manager for its FMCG business in Nairobi. The role supports the marketing manager in planning, executing and tracking marketing activities for brands and product lines, working closely with sales and trade teams.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop and run integrated marketing strategies and annual marketing plans and campaigns for assigned brands or product lines, and monitor campaign performance.
• Support brand positioning, messaging and identity, and build brand awareness while aligning marketing with sales objectives.
• Carry out market research on consumers and competitors, and turn insights into marketing actions.
• Support new product development and go-to-market strategies, including pricing, packaging, distribution and promotions, and coordinate product launches.
• Plan and run campaigns across digital, retail and trade channels, coordinating with agencies, media partners and creative teams, and track campaign ROI.
• Develop trade marketing initiatives and support activations, in-store campaigns and merchandising.
• Monitor marketing KPIs such as brand performance, campaign reach and sales impact, and prepare regular reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 3 years of FMCG marketing experience, including brand building and product marketing.
• Experience executing marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Strong understanding of consumer and trade marketing in the FMCG sector.
