About the role
The Assistant Procurement Officer will support procurement and stores management at Runyenjes Technical & Vocational College, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and compliance with procurement regulations within an on‑site TVET environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in procurement and stores management.
- Maintain procurement records and related documents.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and obtain quotations.
- Support stock taking and inventory management.
- Help ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Required profile
- Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Membership to a relevant professional body (advantageous).
- Eligibility for registration to a relevant professional body.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Knowledge of public procurement procedures (advantageous).
