Assistant Project Coordinator

About the role

The Assistant Project Coordinator supports the Project Coordinator Lead in delivering security‑system projects from inception to completion. You will help organise site meetings, maintain documentation, and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organise site meetings, draft agendas, take minutes and follow up on action items.
• Compile project status reports, keep documentation up‑to‑date and track equipment, material usage and deliveries.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to ensure project timelines are met.
• Assist in developing project scopes, workplans and tracking progress against milestones.
• Monitor project calendars, notify stakeholders of changes and support quality‑check activities.
• Identify potential risks or delays and help propose mitigation measures.
• Support transport logistics, travel documentation and site access requirements.
• Continuously learn about electronic security systems and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, mechanical) or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technical or project support role, preferably within security systems or construction.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive problem‑solver who can work collaboratively across functions.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Experience with project‑management tools such as MS Project, Trello or Excel.
• Familiarity with electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) is an advantage.
