Assistant Stocks and Credit Manager

About the role

The Assistant Stocks and Credit Manager supports the finance and logistics functions of Kinangop Dairy Ltd. This role combines credit control, sales administration, stock management and logistics coordination to ensure smooth operations in a fast‑moving FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce the company’s credit policy, monitor customer accounts, and conduct creditworthiness assessments.
• Prepare periodic statements, reconcile customer payments, and follow up on overdue balances.
• Create and process sales documents, generate sales reports, and maintain accurate customer records.
• Coordinate product allocation, monitor stock movements, manage market returns, and oversee crate and can handling.
• Verify deliveries, liaise with transporters, and monitor transporter performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and credit reports and handle customer complaints.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent.
• CPA Part II qualification (or higher).
• Minimum three years’ experience in a busy FMCG environment.
• At least three years’ experience with ERP systems; Syspro knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Master’s Degree in Business Management is an added advantage.
