Associate AI & Cloud Technical Architect

About the role

As an Associate AI & Cloud Technical Architect at NTT DATA, you will support the design and delivery of cloud‑based and AI‑enhanced solutions that meet client business and technical needs. You will work closely with senior architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable, and cost‑effective architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements and help shape AI and cloud solutions.
• Support senior architects in discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and technical engagements.
• Assist in designing cloud‑native and AI‑powered solutions, including chatbots, copilots, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI applications.
• Evaluate, select, and implement foundation models and AI services to address client needs.
• Provide pre‑sales technical support, analyze client requirements, and recommend appropriate technologies.
• Contribute to cloud assessments, application modernisation, migration planning, and integration design.
• Support cloud security, AI governance, and compliance best practices.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts, demos, pilot solutions, technical design documentation, and architecture diagrams.
• Participate in RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and customer presentations.
