Associate II Business Development

About the role

The Associate II Business Development will promote and grow the Group Life & Pensions business by delivering competitive quotations, generating revenue through multiple distribution channels and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Generate revenue from new and existing brokers and clients.
• Prepare and send competitive quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
• Consult clients on optimal cover solutions and deliver presentations.
• Process documentation for new business acquisition and maintain accurate databases.
• Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries, business partners and customers.
• Provide market feedback, intelligence and regular management reports.
• Ensure compliance with the business development operational manual and Code of Ethics.
• Manage intermediary forums, exhibition stands and corporate sponsorships.
• Identify emerging customer needs and support new business opportunities.
• Train staff, business partners and intermediaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business or social sciences from a reputable university.
• Progress toward professional insurance qualifications (e.g., ACII, FCII) is an advantage.
• At least four years of post‑qualification experience in Life Assurance and Pensions business development.
• Previous experience in sales and marketing.
