Associate Senior Delivery Officer – Regional Partner & Technology Advocate

About the role

The Associate Senior Delivery Officer will act as a strategic thought partner for regional and country task teams, helping the World Bank Group translate operational challenges into technology‑enabled solutions. The role bridges field realities with the product development lifecycle, ensuring digital platforms support policy implementation, program delivery and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to task teams, project staff and regional leadership on operational technology needs and digital enablement.
• Analyze end‑to‑end business processes across sectors (e.g., health, education) to identify efficiency gains and automation opportunities.
• Provide strategic guidance on existing or new digital solutions, surface emerging needs, and recommend process improvements.
• Translate operational problems into clear use cases for product managers and solution architects, evaluating fit‑for‑purpose technologies.
• Support prioritization, adoption monitoring, and user satisfaction for regional digital tools.
• Facilitate change‑management activities, including training, communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Define and track key performance indicators for innovative initiatives and document lessons learned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM field with at least 8 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years.
• Proven experience in advising multi‑disciplinary teams on technology adoption, digital transformation, and process redesign within development or large‑scale institutional contexts.
