Associate Senior Delivery Officer – Regional Partner & Technology Advocate

About the role

This role combines strategic advisory, user and business engagement, and technology enablement to help World Bank Group operations teams implement policies, deliver programs, and scale impact through digital tools and data‑informed practices. It supports the Bank’s commitment to ensure digital platforms drive operational effectiveness, innovation, and on‑the‑ground implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to task teams and regional management on operational technology needs and provide strategic guidance on digital solutions.
• Analyze end‑to‑end business processes across sectors (health, education, etc.) to identify efficiency opportunities and recommend digital enablement.
• Partner with product managers and solution architects, translating field insights into clearly scoped technical solutions.
• Evaluate existing technologies, recommend fit‑for‑purpose adaptations, and support prioritisation based on business impact.
• Facilitate technology adoption, monitor performance, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Define KPIs for innovative initiatives, track progress, and document lessons learned for the Bank’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in computer science/STEM with 8+ years relevant experience, or Bachelor’s with 10+ years.
• Experience in development or multilateral operations, technology advisory, digital transformation, and large‑scale business modernization.
• Demonstrated expertise in emerging technologies, systems thinking, change management, and innovation methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills; experience in large, complex organisations or international development settings.
• Familiarity with World Bank operations, governance, and platforms is preferred; multilingual abilities are a plus.
