Bilingual Civil Superintendent

About the role

The Bilingual Civil Superintendent leads field operations for site development projects, overseeing earthwork, utilities, and infrastructure construction. This role ensures production, safety, coordination, and schedule execution across multiple crews and scopes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for mass grading, excavation, utilities, and roadway construction.
• Manage crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors to maintain sequencing and avoid delays.
• Develop daily work plans and 2‑week and 6‑week look‑ahead schedules.
• Coordinate client requirements, equipment, and material deliveries, removing constraints that impact productivity.
• Oversee installation of water, sewer, storm drain, electrical, and communication systems, ensuring accurate trenching, bedding, and compaction testing.
• Verify grades, elevations, and compaction; prepare for inspections and coordinate with inspectors and agencies.
• Enforce safety standards, conduct JHAs, lead daily safety meetings, and mitigate hazards.
• Maintain communication between field crews and the project management team, track production, quantities, and support punch‑list inspections and as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency (English and another language).
• Proven field leadership experience in civil construction site development.
• Ability to manage multiple crews, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Strong focus on safety compliance and OSHA standards.
