Bootcamp Guide for Youth Digital Skills

About the role

The Bootcamp Guide will lead training delivery, curriculum implementation, and learner coaching for the Learning Lions Bootcamp. The role is based in Lodwar, Kenya and focuses on empowering youth with digital skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver daily Bootcamp sessions, ensuring alignment with curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Facilitate interactive, learner‑centered training experiences and adapt methods to diverse backgrounds.
• Supervise and mentor assistant trainers, facilitators, and peer mentors.
• Ensure modules, exercises, and assessments are implemented on schedule and monitor learner performance.
• Provide weekly one‑on‑one guidance, foster teamwork, and address learner concerns promptly.
• Coordinate with the Education Program Director, submit progress reports, and help improve training content.

Required profile

• Graduate of the Learning Lions Bootcamp Training Program and completed the Training of Trainers (TTT) Program.
• Experience as a Coach in at least two Mobile LEAP cohorts.
• Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem‑solving abilities in a dynamic learning environment.
• Commitment to Learning Lions’ mission of youth empowerment and digital skills development.
