Branch Assistant (Stock & Operations)

About the role

The Branch Assistant supports daily operations at the Muthara-Meru branch, handling stock receipt, inventory control, and branch upkeep to ensure smooth service for the sales team and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming stock deliveries, document quantities, and inspect goods for quality.
• Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile inventory variances, and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized branch environment, including rotogals, drums, crates, displays, and weighing scales.
• Weigh fish for client orders, verify payments, and record transactions.
• Prepare inventory reports and communicate operational issues to the Regional Supervisor.

Required profile

• High School Diploma; certificate in Sales, Marketing or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in sales or marketing roles.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented with good organizational abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Basic inventory management tools.
