Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the AG German Institute's Nakuru branch. Reporting to the Directors, the role ensures academic excellence, smooth administrative processes, and growth of the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all branch operations, guaranteeing delivery of academic and non‑academic services.
• Represent the institute professionally to clients, parents, partners, regulators and visitors.
• Oversee maintenance of school infrastructure to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Supervise teaching and administrative staff, monitor attendance, conduct and performance, and address disciplinary matters.
• Mentor staff to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Handle student conduct, attendance, discipline, and communication with families or sponsors.
• Ensure students sit examinations on schedule and meet course milestones.
• Coordinate lesson, mock‑exam and exam scheduling with teachers and monitor student progress data.
• Prepare monthly reports for the Directors and perform any additional duties consistent with seniority.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience, preferably as a Branch/Campus Manager or Operations Manager in an educational setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proven ability to use MS Office, Google Workspace and basic school‑management or record‑keeping systems.
