Brand Manager – Personal Care (Nairobi)

About the role

The Brand Manager will support the Category & Brand Manager for Personal Care in developing and executing brand plans that align with regional and operating unit strategies. This role is based in Nairobi and works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive brand performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement brand strategy in trade to grow and sustain performance and profitability.
• Manage agencies to execute brand campaigns, including digital and BTL activities.
• Monitor and report brand performance using consumer KPIs such as market share, awareness, trial and attribute rating.
• Support new product development for Kenya and Uganda.
• Assist with pricing policy implementation for the brand portfolio.
• Develop and execute approved media and consumer plans.
• Participate in product life‑cycle management, demand forecasting and residual minimisation.
• Maintain brand operations and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑4 years of experience in brand, shopper and trade activations.
• Strong data analytical abilities.
• Proven agency relationship management.
• Demonstrated personal leadership and drive.
