Building Services Coordinator – Electrical & Computer Engineering

About the role

The Building Services Coordinator supports the Electrical & Computer Engineering department on the Main Campus by overseeing the planning and execution of building operations and maintenance. This full‑time, 12‑month position ensures that facilities run smoothly and meet the needs of faculty, staff, and students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and schedule daily operations and preventive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks related to the Simrall system and other campus infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to prioritize service requests and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain records of work orders, equipment inventories, and service logs.

Required profile

• Experience in facilities or building services coordination, preferably in an academic environment.
• Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of building operations and maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with the Simrall system or similar facility management tools.
