Buildings Maintenance III – Senior Maintenance Technician

About the role

This senior‑level position is responsible for maintaining a wide range of district facilities, including recreation centers, public works buildings, water treatment plants, pump stations, parks, beaches, golf courses, ski areas, athletic fields, and wetlands. The role requires advanced technical proficiency to ensure all assets operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on building systems and equipment across all district facilities.
• Diagnose complex issues, conduct repairs, and oversee construction or renovation projects.
• Maintain the recreation center, public works buildings, water treatment plant, pump stations, parks, beaches, golf courses, ski area, athletic fields, and wetland areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and district policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience or technical training in general building maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, pumps, and general building maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to complete the district’s application process.
