Business Analyst – ERP Implementation

About the role

The Business Analyst will lead business elicitation, analysis and system implementation for ERP and bespoke solutions across education, public service and government automation projects in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non‑functional requirements; produce BRDs, functional specifications and process maps.
• Support gap analysis between business needs and ERP capabilities and maintain requirements traceability.
• Participate in all implementation phases – configuration, testing, deployment and post‑go‑live support.
• Coordinate bank and payment system integrations, including M‑Pesa Daraja, workflow validation and reconciliation.
• Configure and test integrations with LMS and Koha ILS, and ensure successful user acceptance testing.
• Act as liaison between business users, technical teams and vendors, delivering training, user manuals and SOPs.
• Provide Level 2/3 support, monitor system availability and assist with server setup and stabilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in ERP implementation, systems integration or business analysis.
• Proven experience with bank integrations, payment platforms and M‑Pesa Daraja.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux and/or Windows server environments.
• Familiarity with at least one Learning Management System.
• Experience in education, public sector or enterprise ERP environments is an advantage.
