Business Analyst - ERP Implementation

About the role

ABNO Softwares International is hiring a middle-level Business Analyst in Nairobi for a full-time position focused on business analysis, system configuration, implementation, testing and stakeholder engagement within recognized BA and ERP implementation frameworks. The role covers bank and payment integrations, M-Pesa Daraja, server environments, LMS and Koha, with hardware support exposure an advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, validate and document business, functional and non-functional requirements, and develop BRDs, functional specifications and process maps.
• Support gap analysis between business needs and ERP capabilities and maintain requirements traceability.
• Maintain client interaction and opportunity records in the CRM system.
• Take part in ERP implementation phases and coordinate bank and payment system integrations, including workflow validation and reconciliation.
• Support M-Pesa Daraja integrations and integrate LMS and Koha ILS with ERP and institutional systems.
• Support system configuration, prepare and run test cases and UAT, and validate integrations before go-live.
• Act as liaison between business users, technical teams and vendors, support change management, user training and adoption, and prepare user manuals, SOPs and implementation documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in ERP implementation, systems integration or business analysis.
• Demonstrated experience supporting bank integrations and payment platforms, and practical experience with M-Pesa Daraja.
• Experience in education, public sector or enterprise ERP environments is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Server environments (Linux and/or Windows).
• Working knowledge of at least one LMS and familiarity with Koha.
• Requirements elicitation and documentation, stakeholder management and communication.
• Understanding of the ERP lifecycle and governance.
