Business Development Executive – Premium Architectural & Interior Solutions

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive sales growth and market expansion for a leading supplier of premium architectural and interior solutions in Kenya. You will work from the Westlands office in Nairobi, building relationships with developers, architects, contractors, interior designers and residential clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial and residential construction markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, architects, contractors, consultants, interior designers and homeowners.
• Promote and sell premium windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and related fitting solutions.
• Lead negotiations and close high‑value sales contracts and projects.
• Conduct market research to uncover customer needs, trends and competitor activity.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, presentations and bid documents.
• Collaborate with technical, operations and finance teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and implement go‑to‑market strategies and strategic partnerships.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and trade shows.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, forecast sales and track performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in construction, architectural or interior fit‑out sectors.
• Proven track record of generating revenue and closing large contracts.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
