Business Development Officer – Broker Channel (Fixed Term)

About the role
The Business Development Officer will support the Corporate Sales Manager by handling quotation requests, converting prospects into business, recruiting brokers, and driving market engagement to grow the broker channel.
Key responsibilities
- Increase the number of brokers in the distribution channel.
- Achieve product revenue targets while maintaining profitability.
- Establish and nurture relationships with brokers.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate, timely business reporting.
- Monitor cash‑and‑carry policy to ensure premiums are paid upfront.
- Coordinate IPF business with finance, attend broker meetings, and resolve broker inquiries.
- Prepare and implement business development activity reports and support new product development.
Required profile
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong market awareness.
- Ownership, commitment, and customer‑focused mindset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time‑management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience and a business‑related degree.
