Business Manager – Animal Nutrition Specialty (Western Europe)

About the role

The Business Manager will drive sales of animal nutrition specialty products across Western Europe, working closely with technical teams and regional leadership. This position reports to the Regional Business Director EMEA and is part of Evonik's sales organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and lead business opportunities, generating sales in collaboration with the technical team.
• Develop and expand the specialty portfolio for monogastric and ruminant markets.
• Create demand through direct customer engagement, presentations, visits and industry events, using CRM (MS Dynamic).
• Coordinate product trials with the Technical Manager to demonstrate efficacy.
• Develop and execute business plans to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Maintain accurate annual rolling forecasts and monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Build strong relationships with customers, industry influencers and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in animal science, animal nutrition, veterinary medicine or related field.
• Proven experience in animal nutrition, health or feed additives, preferably in the poultry sector.
• Strong sales, negotiation and business development track record.
• Deep understanding of monogastric and/or ruminant production sectors.
• Experience managing forecasts, business plans and commercial performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Dutch, German and/or French are a strong advantage.
