CAD/BIM Technician - Civil & Structural

About the role

Tatu City is seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented CAD/BIM Technician – Civil & Structural to support the engineering team on ambitious high‑rise, industrial and residential projects. The specialist will produce high‑quality structural detailing and civil drawings while ensuring BIM model accuracy and compliance with international drafting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2‑D construction drawings and 3‑D BIM models for reinforced concrete, structural steel and civil works across high‑rise towers, warehouses and residential complexes.
• Develop complex detailing such as rebar layouts, steel connections and general arrangement drawings in line with design specifications and ISO 19650 standards.
• Perform clash detection in Navisworks, generate reports and resolve conflicts with MEP and architectural models.
• Liaise with architects, MEP technicians and engineers to deliver coordinated designs and prepare “as‑built” drawings based on field changes.
• Review construction drawings for accuracy and constructability, conduct site visits to verify compliance, and support quantity take‑offs directly from BIM models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a technical diploma.
• 7‑10 years of progressive drafting and detailing experience on residential, industrial and high‑rise projects.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on BIM modeling and coordination.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (Structure) and Navisworks.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, CADS RC and structural analysis tools such as Prota Structure.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing rules, steel section specifications and ISO 19650 coding conventions.
