Call Centre Sales Internship

About the role

Summit Recruitment & Search client, a leading automotive company in Nairobi, Kenya, is seeking Junior Sales Interns for a Call Centre to support the sales team in generating leads, engaging prospective customers, promoting automotive products, and converting enquiries into sales opportunities. The internship offers a monthly gross salary of KSH 45,000 (approx $347 USD).

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce and promote the company’s automotive products and services.
• Respond to inbound customer enquiries, provide accurate product information, and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Generate, qualify, and follow up on leads through calls, WhatsApp, social media, and other communication channels.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects to move leads through the sales pipeline and support conversion.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles, equipment, or related products based on their requirements.
• Record customer interactions, enquiries, leads, and follow‑up activities accurately in the CRM or relevant systems.
• Schedule appointments, showroom visits, product demonstrations, and sales consultations for the sales team.
• Support the sales team with market research, customer feedback, lead generation campaigns, and other sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong interest in sales, customer service, and the automotive industry.
• Persuasive, energetic, and comfortable speaking to customers and making frequent outbound calls.
• Good computer skills, with the ability to use CRM systems, Microsoft Office, WhatsApp, and other digital communication platforms.
