About the role

MSF Eastern Africa is looking for a Career Development Officer to join its team and support staff growth within the organization. The role is part of MSF Eastern Africa’s effort to promote staff development while maintaining a strong focus on safety and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

Required profile

Commitment to creating a safe, diverse and inclusive workplace.
Willingness to consider candidates whose experience does not perfectly match the selection criteria.
Strong dedication to safeguarding patients, community members, staff and all contacts from abuse, including sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment (SEAH).
Ability to work with low‑risk contact levels with patients and children, with appropriate monitoring.
Readiness to engage in rigorous vetting processes to prevent perpetrators of abuse from joining the organization.
Support for professional opportunities for historically underrepresented groups.
Adherence to MSF’s safeguarding policies and monitoring procedures.
