Carwash Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Carwash Cleaner to deliver high-quality cleaning and detailing services for customer vehicles at our Nairobi facility. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness of both vehicles and the carwash premises while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform exterior washing, drying, waxing and polishing of all vehicle types.
• Clean and vacuum vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats and dashboards.
• Clean windows, mirrors and door jambs.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of washing bays, equipment, waiting areas, restrooms and staff break areas.
• Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Handle, store and dispose of cleaning agents and chemicals safely, wearing appropriate PPE.
• Organise and replenish stock of cleaning supplies, tools and products.
• Assist with vehicle flow management and communicate any maintenance or supply needs to the team.

Required profile

• Minimum high school certificate or equivalent.
• Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Copy of national identification document.
• No prior professional experience required; manual‑labour or service experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Ability to perform physical duties such as standing, bending and lifting throughout the shift.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure vehicles are spotless.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely and work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
