Case Packer Operator

About the role

Q-Sourcing, a manpower management firm operating across East Africa, is recruiting on behalf of its client a Case Packer Operator to work in Thika, Kenya. The operator runs and monitors a beverage case packing machine, loads materials, checks product quality, keeps the machine running smoothly and carries out simple maintenance while following safety and cleanliness rules.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently operate the case packing machine
• Load and replenish packaging materials
• Monitor product quality and packaging accuracy
• Perform basic machine adjustments and minor troubleshooting
• Follow safety, food safety and sanitation procedures
• Communicate with team members and supervisors

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in an electrical or mechanical field
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing set-up
• 3 years of experience in a beverage production environment is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of beverage production processes and equipment
• Familiarity with food safety and quality control systems such as HACCP and ISO 22000
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
