About the role

We are looking for two enthusiastic Casual Chefs to join our kitchen team in Westlands, Nairobi. This full‑time role offers the chance to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes in both hot and cold sections according to menu specifications.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet established standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials.
• Provide flexible support for additional kitchen duties as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or Catering.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of hot and cold kitchen techniques and food preparation.
• Willingness to learn and improve culinary skills.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for cooking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
