About the role
The Mombasa Hospital is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead its hospital kitchen operations, ensuring high‑quality food service for patients and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations and management of the hospital kitchen.
- Supervise catering department staff, food production, and service delivery.
- Manage procurement processes and maintain hygiene standards.
- Coordinate with other hospital units to ensure nutritional needs are met.
Required profile
- BSc Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from a recognized institution.
- Higher National Diploma in Institutional Management (advantage).
- Minimum three years of experience as a Catering Manager in a busy hospital or hotel kitchen.
- Knowledge of therapeutic nutrition (advantage).
- Strong leadership, management and communication abilities.
