About the role

We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our kitchen team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves creating seasonal menus, preparing dishes to high standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service.

Key responsibilities

• Curate elevated, seasonally appropriate menus.
• Prepare and present high‑quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Plan and execute menu items while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of kitchen resources.
• Work closely with management to develop new menu offerings and seasonal specials.
• Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations during service hours.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to prepare and present high‑quality dishes.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards and kitchen cleanliness.
• Experience in inventory monitoring and stock management.
• Capability to supervise kitchen staff and coordinate service operations.
