About the role
The Chicken Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire poultry processing operation in Nairobi. This role requires strong leadership, a solid understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to manage a commercial abattoir efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Lead production teams to meet output targets.
- Oversee daily operations of a commercial poultry abattoir.
- Implement and monitor HACCP and other food safety systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Veterinary Medicine, Agriculture, Agribusiness or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in poultry processing or meat production.
- Minimum two years managing a commercial poultry abattoir.
- Proven ability to lead production teams.
Required skills
- HACCP implementation.
