Chief Accountant – Hospitality Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Chief Accountant – Hospitality Operations to oversee accounting, financial reporting, cost control, and inventory management across both hotels. The role will ensure accurate financial records, effective cost management, proper stock controls, and compliance with established accounting and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations across both hotels and prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, statutory compliance and conduct regular bank and digital‑payment reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls while supervising the accounting team and coordinating with auditors.
• Monitor daily Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for F&B, housekeeping and maintenance, preparing cost, consumption and variance reports.
• Verify purchase orders, receiving reports and supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with cost‑control procedures.
• Oversee stock levels across departments, conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting, cost control and inventory management within the hotel or hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (mandatory) and knowledge of eZee System or Burrp (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of hospitality accounting practices, financial controls and COGS management.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and financial reporting skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage accounting operations across multiple properties and supervise teams independently.
