Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

About the role

Q-Sourcing Servtec Group (QSSG), a human capital management firm headquartered in Mauritius and operating across East Africa, is looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to join its team in Nairobi. Reporting to the CEO, the CMO defines and executes the group's marketing strategy, focusing on brand positioning, lead generation and customer engagement across African markets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and strengthen the brand and develop marketing strategies aligned with pan-African growth objectives
• Analyze market trends, competitors and customers to refine the marketing approach
• Design data-driven lead generation strategies and oversee integrated digital campaigns with high ROI
• Create content and messaging that resonates with target audiences
• Use customer feedback, analytics and market research to understand needs and find new opportunities
• Set KPIs and metrics to track and optimise marketing performance
• Work with the Chief Growth Officer, CTO and operations teams, and build partnerships with agencies, media and vendors
• Build and mentor a marketing team and manage the marketing budget

Required profile

• Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
• 10+ years of senior marketing experience, including brand strategy, digital marketing and demand generation, ideally in multi-regional or high-growth markets
• Experience leading data-driven strategies and large-scale campaigns across multiple channels
• Previous experience in developing countries, especially East Africa, is an added advantage
