About the role
Join the Core Curriculum Adaptation Team to help adapt the World Health Organization’s Caregiver Skills Training (CST) package for Kenyan families of children with developmental delays or disabilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to review, contextualise, and pilot the training materials.
Key responsibilities
- Review and critically engage with WHO CST materials, identifying linguistic, cultural and contextual considerations for Kenya.
- Participate in adaptation workshops, stakeholder consultations and pre‑pilot testing.
- Contribute to consensus‑based decision‑making within the multidisciplinary team.
- Potentially train as a CST Master Trainer and support programme implementation during Year 1.
Required profile
- Relevant university degree and professional experience in psychology, psychiatry, occupational therapy, speech‑language therapy, social work, child development, public health, education, or related fields.
- Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families.
- Strong understanding of the Kenyan cultural and community context.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili.

What we offer
- Part‑time, project‑based consultancy lasting approximately six months.
