Claims Representative - Cigna Healthcare

Key responsibilities

• Adjudicate international medical, dental and vision claims in line with policy terms and conditions, meeting personal and team productivity and quality goals.
• Monitor and flag high-cost claims so that the relevant parties are aware.
• Monitor turnaround times and alert the supervisor when claims cannot be settled within the required time scales.
• Respond to enquiries about plan design, eligibility and claims status within the agreed time commitment, aiming for first-call resolution.
• Resolve customer issues with internal and external customers.
• Identify process improvements and recommend them to the team senior.
• Support colleagues and carry out ad hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• Customer-focused, able to identify and solve problems and to meet or exceed targets while managing several priorities.
• Experience in medical administration, a claims environment or a contact centre is advantageous.

Required skills

• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication with internal and external clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• English and arithmetic proficiency.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workflow and exercise judgement.
