Client Onboarding Analyst

About the role

The Client Onboarding Analyst joins Citi’s global financial services team to support the onboarding and maintenance of client accounts. This entry‑level position focuses on processing client requests, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high‑quality service throughout the account lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Process client requests related to system set‑up, signatory updates, and documentation lodgment.
• Collaborate with internal partners to maintain systems in line with account opening and maintenance procedures.
• Respond to client and internal inquiries, preparing documentation for archiving.
• Apply bank regulations and stay current with internal rules and external regulations.
• Verify and authorize data entered into systems, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Escalate urgent or risk‑related issues through appropriate channels.
• Support other teams and participate in trainings, projects, conference calls, and system testing as directed.
• Identify and suggest process improvements, assisting in their implementation.
• Support quality‑assurance activities and maintain compliance standards.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of banking processes, procedures, and systems.
• Basic understanding of underlying concepts and principles of client onboarding.
• Ability to make evaluative judgments based on factual information.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information concisely.
• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering accurate, timely results.
