Clinical Lead / Trial Manager – Renal

About the role

Emerald Clinical Trials is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to manage renal clinical trials across Europe. This remote, flexible role allows you to oversee end‑to‑end trial execution, from start‑up through close‑out, while collaborating with global and regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee clinical trials, ensuring successful execution from start‑up to close‑out.
• Lead site selection and feasibility assessments in close partnership with CRAs and investigators.
• Manage study timelines, budgets and deliverables to meet project objectives.
• Provide oversight on protocol administration, site initiation, monitoring and overall study progress.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including sponsors, investigators and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, FDA regulations and company SOPs.
• Train and mentor CRAs and site staff to maintain protocol adherence and data integrity.

Required profile

• Renal therapeutic area experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field (RN preferred) with 1‑2 years as a Clinical Trial Manager or Clinical Lead.
• Strong background in monitoring and site management, preferably in oncology or other complex indications.
• CCRA or CCRP certification strongly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations and clinical trial best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders efficiently.
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % as required.
