Clinical Officer

About the role

Woodlands Hospital is seeking a qualified Clinical Officer to join its outpatient and inpatient departments. Reporting to the Medical Superintendent, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality patient care and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a variety of conditions.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
• Perform minor medical procedures as required.
• Refer complex cases to senior physicians or specialists.
• Maintain up‑to‑date patient records and clinical notes.
• Participate in daily ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Provide health education and counseling to patients and families.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Clinical Medicine.
• Registered and licensed by the relevant Clinical Officers Board.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
