Pharmaceutical Technologist – Pharmacy Services

About the role

The Pharmaceutical Technologist will support the pharmacy team in delivering efficient and timely pharmacy services at PCEA Chogoria Hospital. Reporting to the Pharmacist, the role focuses on accurate prescription handling, patient counseling, and high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medicines in accordance with prescriptions.
• Interpret prescriptions accurately and verify dosage calculations.
• Provide counseling and medication advice to patients.
• Maintain pharmacy records and ensure compliance with the Pharmaceutical and Poisons Board.
• Deliver excellent customer service and address patient inquiries.
• Work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution.
• Current registration with the Pharmaceutical and Poisons Board.
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
• Outstanding communication and counseling abilities.
• Mature practicing Christian.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
