Clinical Research Associate II – Clinical Operations

About the role

The Clinical Research Associate II joins Emerald Clinical Trials' Clinical Operations team to manage site activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the successful execution of clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the identification, feasibility assessment, and selection of investigators and trial sites.
• Complete all monitoring activities according to the Monitoring Plan and submit monitoring visit reports within the predetermined timeframe.
• Prepare, plan, organize, and conduct site evaluation visits and report on these visits to assist in site selection.
• Prepare and submit regulatory packages, manage import/export requirements, and update Ethics Committee documentation.
• Negotiate site budgets, coordinate contract execution, track invoicing, and ensure timely site payments.
• Conduct site initiation visits.
• Develop and maintain appropriate monitoring tools and project‑specific documents.
• Motivate and train investigators to ensure a thorough understanding of the protocol, investigational product, and trial requirements.
• Collect, review, and approve essential documents from trial sites.
