Cloud Lead Architect

About the role

Within MSF's OCB ICT unit, which delivers digital services to about 6,000 users in projects across roughly 40 countries and around 500 users in Brussels, the Cloud Lead Architect provides enterprise-level leadership for cloud and hybrid technology environments. The role develops and governs the cloud architecture strategy, cloud security principles and technology standards so that digital platforms remain reliable, secure, scalable and sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise cloud architecture principles, target-state roadmaps and technology standards
• Provide architectural oversight for cloud and infrastructure initiatives and advise leadership and technology teams on architectural decisions and cloud investments
• Establish secure cloud architecture practices and governance frameworks to manage technology risk and support compliance
• Lead the adoption of modern cloud and hybrid technologies to improve scalability, performance and reliability
• Define architecture requirements for availability, recoverability, monitoring and continuity of critical services
• Promote interoperable cloud standards, reusable platform capabilities and common technology patterns across MSF entities, and mentor technical teams

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, including 3 years in cloud technologies
• Demonstrated experience designing and governing cloud and hybrid environments
• Experience leading technology transformation, modernisation or migration initiatives
• Experience in complex, multi-site or international environments
• Required certifications: CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written; knowledge of French, Spanish, Arabic or another international language is an asset
