CMS Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom Content Management System applications such as WordPress, Drupal, or Craft CMS. The role is fully remote and focuses on delivering secure, high‑performance web experiences that meet brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage, and scale customized CMS applications, including custom themes, modules, and plugins.
• Implement responsive designs, ensure cross‑browser compatibility, and conduct performance tuning.
• Set up custom post types and fields to provide an intuitive editing experience for non‑technical users.
• Maintain site security, data protection, user authentication, regular backups, and software updates.
• Apply technical SEO best practices and integrate third‑party APIs, CRM systems, and tracking tools.
• Collaborate daily with UI/UX designers, back‑end developers, and content stakeholders.
• Document code and technical decisions for future reference.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of software development experience with a strong focus on CMS technologies.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server‑side languages: PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Hands‑on experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• API integration, database management, and custom backend architecture.
• Technical SEO, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics.
• Responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, performance tuning, security, and backups.
