College Principal (Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced College Principal to lead both academic and administrative functions at our college in Embakasi, Nairobi. The role involves overseeing teaching quality, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with TVET regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of academic and TVET training programmes and monitor teaching standards.
• Coordinate academic planning, examinations, assessments and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage day‑to‑day college operations, policies, procedures and resource allocation.
• Lead, supervise and evaluate teaching and non‑teaching staff, schedule workloads and promote professional development.
• Oversee student discipline, welfare, attendance and overall experience, enforcing policies and addressing concerns.
• Ensure compliance with TVET, education and regulatory requirements, maintaining licences and documentation.
• Provide strategic leadership, represent the institution to stakeholders and identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Education, TVET or a related field.
• Valid TVET teaching/training certification or relevant licence.
• Proven experience in teaching and managing a college or training institution.
• Strong leadership, administration and student‑management capabilities.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and evaluate teaching and support staff.
