Commercial Manager (Trade & Distribution)

About the role

DHL Kenya is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead trade and distribution channels across the country. The role involves developing and executing business plans, managing key client relationships, and driving sales performance within the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Implement business plans to boost sales and monitor market trends.
• Develop cost models, market intelligence systems, and evaluate products and services.
• Build strong client relationships, manage a portfolio of customers, and liaise with regional sales channels.
• Lead and coach sales teams, coordinate with service stations, and maintain frequent contact with customers.
• Execute projects with significant business impact and pursue operational improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in trade/distribution channels.
• At least 3 years in country‑level business management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record in business development and sales performance.
