About the role
The Communications and Outreach Consultant will provide dedicated, deliverable‑based support for the Bebbo Parenting Programme, a UNICEF initiative focused on early childhood development. Working remotely, the consultant will coordinate push‑notification cycles, manage user feedback, and assist Country Offices with communications planning and content localisation.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and manage the push‑notification cycle to engage programme users.
- Handle user feedback channels and ensure communications quality assurance.
- Support Country Offices with outreach planning, content adaptation and localisation.
- Produce newsletters, visibility materials and other outreach products.
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, research and learning (MERL) activities.
- Document and share good practices and lessons across participating countries.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, digital media, social or behavioural sciences, international relations, development studies, or a related field (or a first‑level degree plus two additional years of experience).
- Minimum eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in digital communications, social marketing and content creation.
- At least three (3) years of experience providing communications support in an international or development context.
