About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Roving Compliance Officer to support its Kenya country program. Working across field offices, the officer will help embed ethical conduct, manage complaints and ensure compliance with local laws, IRC policies and donor requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Screen and assess incoming complaints to determine appropriate action.
- Draft investigation‑related documents and communications.
- Provide guidance to IRC Kenya staff and implementing partners to ensure adherence to local laws, IRC policies, donor regulations and contractual commitments.
- Promote a culture of integrity, ethics and accountability across field offices.
Required profile
- Solution‑driven professional with a passion for humanitarian impact.
- Ability to travel regularly between field offices in Kakuma, Hagadera and, as needed, Lamu and Garissa.
- Works under the supervision of the Compliance Coordinator.

- Regular contract with Job Grade 8A.
- Basic salary of Ksh 173,250 per month.
